The spectator is given a deck of cards and asked to cut the deck anywhere

A deck of cards is shuffled by the spectator... The performer writes down a prediction before asking the spectator to cut the deck and look at the card which they have cut to. They are then asked to close the deck and keep hold of it. The prediction is revealed to be correct!
